The Terminator series is an American science fiction series. It has been created by James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd. The franchise has a series of films, comics, and novels. James Cameron is a Canadian filmmaker and environmentalist who currently lives in New Zealand. He is well known for science fiction, The Terminator. Terminator has got six installments, The Terminator (1984), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Terminator 3: Rise of Machines (2003), Terminator Salvation ( 2015), Terminator Genisys ( 2015), and Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) being the latest one. It has been directed by Tim Miller. Tim Miller, an American film director, and visual effect artist made his debut with Deadpol (2016).
Terminator: Dark Fate has not been titled as terminator 6, as it is a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day. It is scheduled to be released on November 1, 2019. Some stars have been taken from the previous series, and there are new stars as well. Is Terminator: Dark Fate different from its predecessor? Linda Hamilton, who has played the role of Sarah Connor has returned to the series after a long interval. It was difficult for her to return back.
Two projects of the series have been canceled. Terminator Salvation Trilogy. It got canceled because of poor box office collection of the fourth installment. There was another reason as well; it faced some legal troubles. Terminator Genisys trilogy, it’s release date were announced. The two Genisys sequels had announced there release date of May 19, 2017, and June 29, 2018.
The first two films of the series are one of the best science fiction of all times. Both of them has been directed by James Cameron and starred Linda Hamilton. The first trailer of Terminator: Dark Fate did not seem promising. Fans’ adventure would unfold in a matter of a few months. Well, after looking at the trailer, fans are not very confident about the sixth installment.
