After months of anticipation, Outlander viewers will have a long wait before seeing Claire Fraser and her partner Jamie again on television. This week, a new teaser trailer for the Starz drama was finally published, bringing viewers one step closer to the premiere of season seven by revealing a horrifying encounter with their beloved time-traveling healer.

The happenings of the Season 6 finale, in which Claire was detained by Richard Brown for the assassination of Malva Christie as well as being a witch, will be continued in the seventh season of Outlander. The seventh season will have 16 episodes and pick up after Fraser’s Ridge was brutally attacked.
Following the defendant’s claims that Jamie had her pregnant while they were having a passionate affair, the residents of Fraser’s Landing thought that Claire killed Malva. Although Malva and Jamie weren’t involved in a romance, the former was having relations with other local boys, a truth Claire didn’t reveal to the people for whatever cause.
This season, as Claire readied for trial, things seemed rather bleak. In a teaser video, Claire was shown getting fitted for a noose before being prodded in the direction of her potential death. Fans will undoubtedly be anxiously awaiting the outcome of everything next season, but it’s crucial to remember that both Claire and Jamie have previously managed to get out of lumpier predicaments.

He continued by saying that if he had dreamed about the past, why wouldn’t he dream about the future?
