Last Friday (11th of October) was rapper Drake’s son Adonis’ second birthday, and the rapper pulled out all the stops to make his little boy’s birthday special. Drake took to Instagram to share Adonis’ birthday preparations. He posted a picture from the inside of his Toronto mansion. The picture showed a bevy of golden balloons that spelled the birthday boy’s name.
The decorations were adorned all around the doorway of Drake’s piano room and also included a Sesame Street-inspired art piece. Drake captioned the picture, “Happy Birthday King,” with a blue heart.
On the other hand, Adonis’ mother, Sophie Brussax, also shared a throwback picture from the days of her pregnancy. The picture showed Sophie in a black fitted dress with a prominently visible baby bump. She captioned the picture, “Only a handful of weeks left, over 200lbs. It looks like I’m carrying twins, but I swear I’m not.”
Sophie shared another throwback picture of her and Adonis, which showed her looking into the camera as she breastfed little Adonis. But stylishly hid her breast and her son’s face with a bright light.
Drake’s son was unknown to the public until last year, May, when a feud with Pusha T escalated. And Pusha T accused Drake of fathering a secret son with his diss track titled ‘The Story of Adonis.’ Later, Adonis was revealed to be the result of Drake’s fling with former porn star Sophie Brussax.
Since then, Drake has been seemingly open about his offspring Adonis, sharing sweet little father-son moments and some of Adonis’ painting.
