Sasuke Uchiha: The Last Surviving Member of the Uchiha Clan – A Character Review

Get to know more about Naruto’s best friend and an equally capable ninja

Sasuke Uchiha is one of the last surviving members belonging to the Uchiha clan. The Uchihas are a clan who specializes in visual prowess. He was a prodigy right from his childhood and was part of Team 7, along with Naruto and Sakura. While he did join them in many adventures, his priorities were set on killing his older brother Itachi, who murdered their entire clan, including their parents. And for this purpose, he soon left Team 7 and joined Orochimaru to gain more power.

Later on, he joined the Akatsuki, a criminal organization and became an international criminal himself. His mind was filled with revenge and hatred for the leaf village, but he later helped the leaf in ending the Fourth Great Shinobi War. Afterward, he challenged Naruto to a fight where he was defeated and redeemed.

Sasuke is currently in his early 30s, similar to the rest of his friends, and he works as a spy for the hidden leaf village and visits the village occasionally to provide any intel. He has married Sakura and has a daughter named Sarada, who has inherited his Sharingan. He also serves as a mentor for Naruto’s son Boruto and trains him or assists him on missions whenever he’s available. He understands that Boruto does not have dreams of becoming the Hokage like his father, but just wants to be a strong and capable Shinobi who can protect his loved ones.

Sasuke remains Naruto’s equal when it comes to strength, and one of his Sharingan eyes had been transformed into a Rinnegan, which multiplied his strength. Apart from using his eyes, he is a master swordsman and specializes in shuriken and fire jutsus as well.
