Sandra Oh is back with a boom!
Sandra Oh signs for the next project of thriller. She was unseen for the couple of time to which fans missed her, so now she is back with a boom and will now be working for the upcoming film “Can I get a witness”.
The film will be directed by Ann Marie, which Oh is quite familiar with, as they worked on the successful award-winning Window Horses in 2016.
The four new features which were recently launched at American Film Market, the project is reported to be one of them. It was launched by Canadian sales outfit Mongrel International.
Plot:
The film is made keeping in mind of the future which is a surprise of many unexpected realities. Everyone is dedicated to save the planet and ends up on the concept of “death is everyone’s job”. It is seen that in the film the 50-year-olds will be dying for the concept, and the teenage artists will be given the task of documenting it.
The film will be produced by Eric Mussolum and Jayme Pfahl. Moreover, Mongrel is all set to launch two of its projects which are still under development: Jason Lapeyre’s crime thriller Stealing Is Bad starring Nick Stahl (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) and Kevin Pollak (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), and Sam McGlynn’s 1989 with Sandra Oh.
Apart from that Sarah Oh the first woman of Asian descent who is been awarded by two Globes, one for best actress in a TV series-drama for “Killing Eve” in 2019 and the other for best supporting actress in a series, miniseries or movie made for TV for “Grey’s Anatomy” in 2006. Such a big achievement at the age of 39 which doesn’t end here, but Sandra Oh is also the first person of Asian descent to also host the Globes.
