Storyline:

The protagonist is Elliot Alderson who is a skilled cyber-security engineer. He works for  Allsafe, a cybersecurity company. Elliot struggles with problems like social anxiety, dissociative identity disorder, and depression in his day to day life. He is hired by a mysterious man named Mr. Robot to join the ‘society’, his team of hacktivists. The goal of the society is to destroy the data of Allsafe’s biggest client, E Corp.

Is Mr. Robot Coming Back For Season 5?

The fourth season of Mr. Robot was aired on October 6, 2019, on USA Network. It had a total of 13 episodes. The heartbreaking news is that there won’t be a fifth season. During the premiere of the fourth season, it was revealed that it would be the final season of Mr. Robot. Lead actor Rami Malek went on to confirm this news via social media.

Why did Season 5 Get Cancelled?

The creator of Mr. Robot, Sam Esmail, said that his creative team and the fans did not want to end this show. He said that when he first created the show, he thought it would be a niche television series with just a small amount of followers. He added that in the last 3 years, it has got more recognition than expected which was humbling for him.

Malek was also busy filming James Bond’s upcoming entry No Time To Die.
