Good news ahead for Marvel fans. Fan-favorite Robert Downey Jr. aka Ironman might show up in the upcoming movie Black Widow. According to reports, Robert Downey Jr. is all set to return as Ironman in the upcoming Black Widow spin-off.
However, Marvel Studios has not confirmed the casting of Robert Downey Jr. as of yet. But as per the reports, fans may expect him perhaps for a cameo in the movie.
“Downey will be seen in the role of Stark one more time, however, in the Marvel prequel Black Widow in May 2020,” claimed Saturn Awards, Deadline in a news round up.
The upcoming Black Widow spin-off directed by Cate Shortland and written by Jac Schaefer will have Scarlet Johansson as the Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff. The movie will also have the likes of David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle and Rachel Weisz.
At San Diego Comic-con, Cate Shortland said Black Widow has many secrets and vulnerabilities which makes her a great heroine. In the film, we get to understand her past and put the pieces of herself together.
The Black Widow spin-off is going to release in the US on the 1st of May, 2020. Reports suggest that the movie might be first of the R-rated Marvel movies.
