After a Series of Delays, X-Men’s Spin-off, ‘New Mutants,’ will Finally Arrive on Screens!

After facing many delays since 2018, the movie is set to release this year

New Mutants is the first-ever spin-off of Marvel’s X-Men, and it’s finally ready to hit theaters after facing many roadblocks.

Release Date

The current release date of the movie, which is directed by Josh Boone, is set on August 28th, that is if we are rid of the coronavirus crisis by then. If all goes well, the movie can turn out to be a summer blockbuster.  The movie was set to release much earlier, but then owing to many reshoots, then the Disney and Fox merger happened, and it ended up getting pushed back. The movie’s original release date was going to be August 2019.

A trailer for the movie was released in October 2017, but afterward, no further promotions were done, and people thought the movie had been shelved. The hype gradually died down, but it looks like it can be restored again.
