Netflix Teases Viewers With a Teaser for its Newest Series “I Am Not Okay With This”

Netflix released the teaser for its newest show I Am Not Okay With This. It is an original series from the people who created Stranger Things and The End of the F***ing World.

The series is based on the graphic novel of the same name made by Charles Forsman. The show will center around Sydney and Stanley, two teenagers and best friends, and their lives as they grow up in high school. There is also something else in store for Sydney. She develops superpowers and she is forced to deal with them along with her dysfunctional family and her sexuality.

Netflix describes the show as an “irreverent origin story” that follows Sydney who is maneuvering through her high school life and also deals with the “complexities” of her family and her sexuality topped with the superpowers she is beginning to develop.

In the teaser released by Netflix, we see Sydney walking to school as Stanley pulls up his car beside her on the road. He rolls the window barely halfway through while taking his sweet time and then motions towards the passenger seat, telling Sydney to get in. The car drives off and the show’s title gets up on the screen. The teaser reveals little but enough to intrigue the audience.

Who is starring and when is it coming?

I Am Not Okay With This stars IT‘s Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff, The Good Wife’s Sophie Bryant, Episodes’s Kathleen Rose Perkins, and Greenleaf‘s Zachary S William.
