Cable Girls Season-5 is returning for a fifth time on Netflix, and it is considered as the last. The series first started on Netflix in 2017 and was one of the first of Netflix’s originals.

The release date of the series is not officially announced. The fifth season is divided into two halves. The first half is decided to be launched worldwide on Netflix on February 14, whereas the launching of the second half is not yet decided. But somewhere in 2020, it can also be expected.

The series is a Spanish drama, saying the story of a few girls living in Madrid in the 20th century. At the end of season-4, the date was 1931, and a new government was established. Lidia and her friends had banded together to break Oscar out of jail. Though the team succeeded in rescuing Oscar, Angeles was shot dead during their jailbreak. This tragic death fractures the group.
Season -5 says the story which is happening after seven years. The story happens between 1936 and 1939, where Lidia and Francisco return to Spain in search of Angele’s daughter Sofia who has joined the army to fight the war. A civil war adds complications to the atmosphere of the series. It gives a sense of feeling that no one is safe. Will anyone else dies is another question asked by the fans. The trailer is showing bombed and destroyed buildings. So nothing can be confirmed. The fans will have to cross their fingers, sit back, and watch each episode anxiously.
