Natsu Dragneel is the main protagonist in Hiro Mashima’s manga/anime series Fairy Tail. He has been a member of the Fairy Tail Guild since childhood and is a Fire Dragon Slayer. Those who specialize in Dragon Slayer Magic are known to possess unnatural power and is stronger than most mages.
Natsu’s story
Natsu had been adopted by the dragon Igneel, and the boy’s origin had been a mystery for a long time, similar to the other Dragon Slayers. Later it was revealed that Natsu was originally the younger brother of the dark magician Zeref Dragneel and he had actually died 400 years ago. But Zeref used his magic to bring him back as the most powerful demon to ever have existed, called E.N.D, or Etherious Natsu Dragneel. During his rebirth, he was sent to the future with the other dragon Slayers, and that was how he was found and trained by Igneel and later joined the Fairy Tail Guild.
Appearance and Personality
Natsu is a lean and muscular, with a slightly tan skin tone and spiky pink hair. He always wears a scarf made of dragon scales around his neck, and his main outfit is a sleeveless black coat, which was left open in the first part, but then zipped up during the later parts.
He has a mischievous and reckless personality and loves having fights with his fellow guild members. He, along with his friend/pet Happy, loves playing pranks on others, pranks which usually end in him getting beaten within an inch of his life. He is also fiercely protective of his friends and always fights for the sake of others and rarely for himself.
