American T.V Show Lizzie McGuire is all set for a reboot headed by the legendary Hilary duff who had played the iconic teen role.
The childhood T.V show is set to hit the screens once again this year. For now, there hasn’t been any announcement about the release date, but it will surely come out this year. The show will air on Disney’s new streaming platform, Disney+ which is albeit similar to Netflix and other subscription-based services.
We don’t have much information, but it is speculated that Lizzie McGuire’s reboot will be about how Lizzie’s life goes about in her 30s. Now, it’s still a mystery whether Lizzie will be having kids of her own or will be a single self-made millionaire in her 30s.
In a small pep-talk with EW after the D23 announcement, Hilary dropped some hints about what the show has in store for their viewers.

And as of now, recent reports confirmed that the original creator, Terri Minsky is “Stepping Down” just after filming two episodes of the new version.
A Disney spokesperson said that the fans have a sentimental attachment to Lizzie McGuire and high expectations for a new series. After filming two episodes, the team concluded that it needs to move in a different creative direction and is putting a new lens on the show.
