After Travis Knight stepped down as the director of Uncharted, Sony has got some newfound hope in Venom director Ruben Fleischer.
After Ruben made Venom, a grand success worldwide, Sony wants Fleischer to imitate the same in Tom Holland’s upcoming film ‘The Uncharted’.
Sony has been hit by troubles since December after Travis Knight had refused to don the shoes as the director. The production house wants to wrap up with the film before Tom begins with another Spiderman franchise.
‘Uncharted’ is adapted from the PlayStation Video Game with the same name which features the first encounter between Tom Holland’s Nathan Drake and Fortune seeker and businessman Victor Sullivan.
The list of producers includes Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner, and Ari Arad alongside Sony PlayStation Productions. The scriptwriters are Art Marcum and Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins. The idea for the movie was born from a sequence in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
