Let Him Go: An Adaption of Larry Watson’s Book gets Celebrated on Big Screen

Born in 1947 in Rugby, Larry Watson has grown up in Bismarck, North Dakota. He is a poet and an author and many readers admire his work. He is actually famous for his profession. Recently he is again in news for a book he wrote in 2013, some 7 years ago almost. A movie with a same name as book, “Let Him Go” is premiered on November 6th, 2020. Synopsis

The plot of the story is way more interesting and violent which does not seem true when you judge the book by its title. The plot is set in North Dakota, 1951. James is lost since years and he is son of George and Margaret Blackledge. His widow has married some months ago to Donnie Weboy. She also had a baby with James whom she took away with herself. The Blackledges, the boy’s grandparents try hard to get their grandson and daughter-in-law back but Weboy aren’t so easy to fight with. Weboy are dangerous family who are getting way tough on their grandson and daughter-in-law.

Cast

The movie stars Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Lesley Manville, Will Brittain, Jeffrey Donovan, Kayli Carter and  Booboo Stewart. Thomas Bezucha has done the direction of the movie. He has also produced the movie along with Mitchell Kaplan and Paula Mazur. Jeffery Ford and Meg Reticker are the lead editors of the movie.

How well the movie is performing?

A lot of reviews say that movie is bit messy but is interesting. It more sort of violent and have audacity to explain the plot of book. Overall it is performing well and is worth watching.
