Money Heist (Le Casa de Papel in Spanish) is a Spanish Netflix original series. The series’s season four has been announced to be renewed even before the third season was released on the streaming service. The series’s showrunner and creator Alex Pina confirmed the fourth season.

Netflix recently released the trailer for Money Heist‘s fourth season. It was announced through the French Netflix account that the trailer will be released on the 5th of March of this year.

Netflix revealed the release date of the newest season. It will come out on 3rd April 2020. Just after the completion of the third installment which finished in mid-2018, work and production on the fourth season was started and was completed in August of 2019. It was overlooked and affirmed by Alva Morte.

What will happen in Season 4?

The whole cast will be back to join in for a much bigger money heist. The whole heist down to the last bits will be focussed on rescuing Rio who was captured by the specialists. Looking back at the eighth episode and we can see that the stakes are now much higher. The whole group are up against the specialists and another pregnant lady joins in who is in charge to catch them all in the act.

Nairobi’s fate does not look so promising with her fatal injury. The professor’s way can also be questioned as the new police authorities have been put up in charge.

Many fans theorized that since Nairobi didn’t make an appearance in the recap she may not come back for the fourth season at all. But officially she has been announced to be back with the others, but with a severe injury as well.

It will be interesting to see the team get back up after their numerous downfalls and seeing them get away yet another time.
