Jason Momoa and John Cena will appear in the Warner Bros. adventure film “Killer Vacation”
The raucous new action comedy “Killer Vacation,” in which the vacation inevitably goes bad, will include Hollywood stars John Cena and Jason Momoa.
The performers with bulky physiques have been enlisted by Warner Bros. for an undisclosed motion picture. The two met while working on the upcoming “Fast and the Furious” movie and wanted to utilize their on-screen rapport in another project.
Momoa’s Upcoming Projects
Both Cena and Momoa have expertise in the action genre, and Momoa will play the title character in the December 25, 2023, launch of the DC franchise, portraying Aquaman. The 43-year-old actor also appeared in the movie “Dune,” directed by Denis Villeneuve.
Momoa is also slated to appear in Fast X and Fast & Furious 11, the last installments in the Fast & Furious series, which will be aired in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
Cena Previous and Upcoming Projects
Individuals who are familiar with John Cena’s concept have likened it to exciting, flashy experiences like “True Lies.” The “Killer” script was written by Mark and Brian Gunn, and John Rickard and Peter Safran will oversee production. Prior to Safran taking control with James Gunn at WB’s DC Films Unit, the movie was marketed and put up within the company.
Cena had an appearance in both Peacemakers, an HBO Max spinoff of The Suicide Squad. Safran and Gunn were heavily involved in the development of almost everything related to Peacemaker. Gunn invented the persona for Cena and then came up with the vision for the sequel.
Cena will star in the forthcoming American action-comedy Freelance, which is directed by Pierre Morel. His global epidemic breakthrough, Holiday Friends on Hulu, led to the present creation of Honeymoon Friends, the sequel.
Mark and Brian Gunn are represented by Jacobson, CAA, Hansen, and Teller, while John Cena is represented by WME, Intenta Management, and Johnson, Slewett, Shapiro, and Kole. Momoa is represented by Laird & Sobel, WME, and Edelstein.
