The birthday bash took place last Wednesday, in Miami, starting at 7 pm, but reports suggest that the birthday girl and Alex Rodriguez, arrived around 9:30 pm. The party had performances from stars like DJ Cassidy, DJ Khaled, Ashanti, Pia Toscano, and others.
The singer and dancer, turned actress, was recently in the news for her upcoming project with SFX, starring as Griselda Blanco, in The Godmother. The real-life based drama might even be JLo’s directorial debut. The YouTube video Lopez shared shows how A-Rod and their kids surprised her with a personalized red Porsche as her gift. In the video you can see the delighted singer, excited for the presents, exclaiming how she has not driven for years, and saying to Alex, “You’ve given me my independence back.”

The 50th birthday party took place at Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s private home and was extravagant, to say the least, with a huge multitiered cake, a dance floor, and fireworks. Jennifer Lopez attended the party in a custom-made metallic Versace dress.

The birthday festivities continued till late and wrapped around 3 am. The singer, who has been on a long tour, celebrated her milestone birthday, amongst friends, family, with her kids and fiancé, all beside her, and let the rhythm keep going.
With all the beautiful things happening, she is also playing the role of real-life drug lord “The Godmother”.
