“The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder” On Paramount +

“The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder”, a forthcoming live-action series will release on March 31, Paramount+ confirmed. The series will feature the adventures of the two fairy godparents along with Timmy Turner. It will follow Turner, a ten year old boy who does not get much attention from his parents and has an abusive nanny. The two fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda help Turner with his life and grant his wishes.

“The Fairly Oddparents” was an American animated T.V. series that aired on Nickelodeon. This  Butch Hartman created show first aired in 2001 and ran till 2017. The series did very well critically.

Cousin Viv as the New Timmy

The Paramount Plus series will consist of thirteen episodes and will shift the focus from Timmy Turner to his  13 year old cousin Vivian “Viv” Turner. Timmy lends his godparents to Viv, saying that they are the 2 best hings that ever happened to him. Viv’s younger brother  Roy, also knows about the godparents and the two siblings agree to share the fairies.

Christopher J. Nowak serves as the executive producer along with Butch Hartman, Samantha Martin, Fred Seibert and Mike Caron on the show. In addition to that Nowak also the showrunner. Paramount Plus also dropped a trailer for their upcoming series on February 23.

The OG Wanda and Cosmo Return

The OG fairies will return in the series. Susanne Blakeslee will voice the pink fairy Wanda and Daran Norris will voice Cosmo. Audrey Grace Marshall will play Turner’s cousin Viv and Tyler Wladis will play her younger stepbrother Roy. The show also stars Laura Bell Bundy, Ryan-James Hatanaka, Imogen Cohen. The whole series, all the thirteen episodes will be available to stream on Paramount Plus on the 31st of March. So, get ready to relive your nostalgia starting next month.
