Emilia Clarke is set to star in Sophie Hyde’s Upcoming Film “An Ideal Wife“. The film story is related to 19th century’s Irish Author Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde’s married life where Emilia Clarke will play the character of the poet’s Wife Constance Mary Wilde.

Constance Lloyd was also an Irish author, and the story will show the experiences of Constance Lloyd, sexual awakening after she finds out that her husband was Homosexual.

Constance Mary Wilde, an Irish author who published book, “There was once” based on children’s stories which she heard from her grandmother. She was married to Oscar Wilde, and they had two sons Cyril Holland and Vyvyan Holland, her life took an unknown turn when she finds out that her husband is homosexual.

In 1891, she met her husband’s lover Alfred Douglas, when Wilde brought him for a visit at their house.1895, Oscar Wilde was arrested and found guilty of “acts of gross indecency with other male persons”, Constance and Oscar never divorced and both of them were in good terms.

In 1898 she died at age of 40, the immediate cause of her death was paralytic ileus, which developed as a result of surgery of intra-abdominal.

Film Director and Writer ‘Sophie Hyde’ is creating a film portraying author Oscar Wilde and Constance Lloyd’s married life. The film will follow life of Constance Llyod where she experienced with betrayal, heartbreak and illness. During her life she published two books of children literature.

Emilia Clarke is featuring as main lead in the film. The film will be Emilia Clarke’s first big screen credit since her 2019’s romcom film “Last Christmas, the upcoming film “An Ideal Wife” is produced by Oliver Del Bosc, Chris Curling and Matthew Gledhill.
