As for season 2, it’s scheduled to release in Spring 2021. The plot will be picking up from where the movie ended. Expect to see the rest of the Hashiras in action, starting with the Sound Hashira Uzui Tengen. For those who are unaware of the story, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is the anime adaptation of the manga series by the same name written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. The story is set in the Taishō-era of Japan, which is the early 1900s.

The story is about Tanjiro Kamado, a kid, hardworking boy who used to live with his family atop a mountain. He was the provider following the death of his father. Things take a drastic turn when he returns home one day to find his family slaughtered with the sole surviver being his sister Nezuko – who had turned into a demon. But Nezuko didn’t have the bloodlust common in demons and showed basic human emotions. Tanjiro decides then to cure his sister in whatever means necessary and embarks on a journey to rid the world of demons.
