Big news for fans of Demon Slayer as there’s a lot left to be released and witnessed
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was one of the biggest hits of 2019. With its wonderful animation, captivating storyline, and equally beautiful traditional Japanese aesthetics and soundtrack, the anime now has one of the biggest fanbases yet. With season 1 consisting of 26 episodes, the show has provided a proper narrative, gave the information of most of the characters and has some visually stunning landscapes and fight scenes. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the next arcs and here’s how everything’s going to play out.

The movie, then the second season
Towards the end of season 1, the movie was announced by Ufotable Studio and it will be consisting of one entire arc. Prepare to see Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke team up with the Flame Hashira (Pillar) Kyojuro and face off against a demon that was able to take control over an entire train, including the passengers. The movie is called Demon Slayer: Infinite Train or Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train and is set to be released on October 16, 2020.

As for season 2, the release date is still unknown but a rough bet is that it will be around 2022. Ufotable still has other commitments so it should follow through with them and proceed accordingly. After the success of the first season, and predicting the success of the movie, season 2 can very well take place.

In terms of the manga, the story has almost reached its grand ending, and very few chapters remain. It has been beautifully written from start to end so if anyone’s getting too impatient, the manga is worth checking out. Stay tuned for more updates.
