The movie will be coming to Japanese theaters on October 16
Demon Slayer or Kimetsu no Yaiba was one of the best animes to come out on 2019, and everything, from the characters to the soundtrack to the animation by Ufotable studios has been nothing short of amusing. While we cannot expect the second season of the anime to come out this year, we can look forward to the movie they are putting out.
A train ride with demons and demon slayers
The movie will be called Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, even though it will be getting translated to Infinite Train for its overseas release.
The story will be picking up right from where the first season left off. As a manga reader, I’ve already completed it and will be providing the details without spoiling anything. They have turned an entire arc into this movie, and the story takes place in one night. Tanjiro Kamado, along with is sister Nezuko and his friends Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira are asked to investigate a mysterious train which was reported to have some demonic activity going on and has been causing passengers to disappear.
In the train, they meet up with the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku. There is no limit to how much you are going to love this guy, and his burning soul is going to get etched into your mind. The writer has made him an endearing character within a very short time. Tanjiro and team will join Rengoku and together they will be fighting to save the passengers in the train and vanquish all the demons that have been purging it.
While the Japanese release announcement has been made, there is no official date available for the rest of the world. We will be getting notified in the next few months.
