The James Bond star Daniel Craig appears in The Late Show with Colbert
On Monday, the James Bond star Daniel Craig told The Late Show with Stephen Colbert that the annual celebration of Thanksgiving is probably one of his favorite holidays.
He said jokingly that he do understand Thanksgiving as it is about giving thanks when Colbert asked if he knew about the history of the holiday. Craig said they do celebrate it and they have American friends as well.
Daniel Craig became a U.S. citizen in 2011. His wife Rachel Weisz also became a U.S. citizen in 2011, the same year she married Daniel Craig.
Daniel Craig’s reply when asked about his favorite dish
Craig said that they have celebrated it for a quite long and thus it turned out to be their favorite holiday. When asked about his favorite Thanksgiving dish, the actor turned slightly more serious and said that he is not so good with the fixings and things before calling stuffing an abomination.
When Colbert explained the stuffing is just a mixture of wet bread and herbs, Crebs replied jokingly about the stuffing stuffed into the turkey. He added that though it tastes good still he thinks that the stuffing and turkey should be cooked separately than stuffing the mixture into the turkey.
The upcoming Netflix movie of the actor
Craig appeared on The Late Show to promote his upcoming Netflix movie, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, which featured him in the lead role and also includes Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Janelle Monae, and Kathryn Hahn in the side character. The movie sequel sees Craig returning as detective Benoit Blanc.
Glass Onion is also the title of the third song of The White Album of The Beatles with whom Craig has a long-term attachment.
