This comes after the businessman took his own life on June 22nd
Damian Hurley, the son of businessman and philanthropist Steve Bing and actress Elizabeth Hurley has taken to Instagram to thank his followers for their “overwhelming kindness” following his father’s death. The 18-year-old actor decided to show his heartfelt gratitude for all the support he received after his father committed suicide last week.

He wrote, “I’d like to thank you all again for your overwhelming kindness over the past few days. Your love and support has helped me greatly during this challenging time.”
A confusing time
Damian also admitted earlier this week that he was experiencing a “very strange and confusing time” at this period of his life. He also thanked his friends and family for their support.

He said that he was trying to respond to everyone who showed their support during this difficult time but wanted them all to know that he will always be remembering their kindness. He said that he was grateful to be among them.

His mom Elizabeth Hurley also took to social media and admitted that she was “saddened beyond belief” after hearing that Bing had passed, and talked about how they had reconnected in the past year. She also shared some pictures from the time they were together, and talked about how Steve was a sweet and kind man.

She acknowledged that they had some rough patches in their relationship, but they had wonderful memories as well. She said that the last time they spoke was during Damian’s 18th birthday, and she also signed off by thanking all the well wishers for showing their support during this difficult period.
