Celebrity chef Cat Cora claims her life has been made a living hell by her ex-wife Jennifer Cora.
The “Iron Chef” star, 53, was married to Jennifer for just two years but they had a 17-year relationship and share four sons: Zoran, 16, Caje, 13, Thatcher, 11, and Nash, 11.
The divorce was finalized in 2016, but Cat alleges Jennifer’s “wanting to destroy my life at any cost” began in 2015 and has continued unabated, Cat recently told Page Six, calling it “a nightmare that I can’t wake up from.”
“It’s cyber-stalking, mental and emotional distress, and abuse,” she said, amplifying claims from court documents.
In 2018, Mississippi-born Cat remarried, tying the knot with record exec Nicole Ehrlich, 45, who has two sons.
Cora filed a petition for a domestic violence restraining order, citing “cyber-stalking, mental and emotional distress, and abuse.” Her current wife, Nicole Ehrlich—who has filed her own restraining order—compared Jennifer to the serial killer and rapist Ted Bundy, telling Page Six that “her power and happiness comes from making Cat miserable.”
The final straw was when a strange man trespassed on Cora and Ehrlich’s property in August. He was serving papers, but they didn’t know that because he allegedly didn’t ring the doorbell, apparently opting instead to shout at a window.
In conclusion: “Her whole goal in life is for me to fail, be destroyed, not have a relationship with the kids, for everyone to know I am a BAD person….. she is desperately trying to make me seem like a bad person, bad mother, anything to hurt me,” Cat wrote in the restraining order petition. Seems like a lot of work, to be honest.
In court documents, Cora and Ehrlich said that Jennifer Cora has cornered them repeatedly in public places, such as at the boys’ school and baseball fields, invading their personal space while making a scene. They describe an encounter from 2017 when their two youngest sons were playing baseball and Jennifer allegedly caused a scene by cornering Ehrlich.
“Her parents witnessed it, ALL 6 kids saw or heard her cornering Nicole. … Jennifer got up in Nicole’s face, it was pretty shocking,” the document reads, according to Page Six.
Cora also accused Jennifer of being “an uncooperative co-parent” who has “basically bankrupted” her by taking her to court more than a dozen times in the past four years.
