The Anthony Mackie-led movie will release in 2024
Now that San Diego Comic-Con and D23 are over, Marvel fans have turned their entire attention on the MCU’s Phase 5 projects. During the Marvel Studios Showcase, President Kevin Feige announced some exciting titles, including the Thunderbolts movie, and of course Captain America: New World Order with Anthony Mackie continuing Sam Wilson’s journey from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
What We Know About Captain America: New World Order
In the press line after the Marvel panel, the movie’s director Julius Onah was interviewed and one of the most important questions were asked – “When will Captain America: New World Order start filming?”.We already know that the movie received a 2024 release date, so production has to start soon. Onah replied that they will begin production at the start of next year. He added that they’re already in the pre-production phase, saying that they’re already quite busy, putting everything in order. He said that there are so many elements for these films, such as the scripts and the stunts and special effects and that it was all really exciting.
Cast And Release Date Of Captain America: New World Order
Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman, who wrote the script for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will return to pen the script. Additionally, Danny Ramirez, who played Joaquin Torres in the series will take the mantle of the Falcon, now that Sam Wilson is Captain America. Carl Lumbly will also be returning to play Isaiah Bradley. New cast members include Tim Nelson Blake, who made his MCU debut in The Incredible Hulk. His character is meant to become The Leader, a major villain. Shira Haas will play the hero Sabra.
Captain America: New World Order is currently looking to release on May 3, 2024.
