Actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be honoured at the Walk of Fame star on February 28 and it is official. The British actor is the 2,714th celebrity to receive this honour at the Walk of Fame. The official twitter handle of Walk of Flame confirmed that he will receive a star at this event. Good news for the fans, they will be able to watch their favourite actor receive this honour live on a stream at 11:30 AM PST.
Well Deserved Honour
This honour is certainly well deserved. Cumberbatch has been active since the 1999 and made a place for himself both on screen and on stage. He is a recipient of multiple prestigious awards including Primetime Emmy Award, British Academy Television Award and Laurence Olivier Award. He also earned a BAFTA TV Award for his work in Patrick Melrose. His rich filmography also landed him nominations for awards such as Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Golden Globe Award.
The Walk of Fame honour is something that the Dr. Strange actor fully deserves and his fans could not be happier for him.
