Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie used to be one of Hollywood’s biggest couples. They were two celebrities who made heads turn wherever they went. The couple, famously called ‘Brangelina’ first met on the sets of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and after a long courtship, got married in 2014.

Apparently, the reason they got married was because their children insisted on it. The couple shares six children – Maddox, Zahara, Knox, Pax, Shiloh, and Vivienne. But things went south after marriage and the couple decided to get divorced in 2016.

It’s known that Pitt and their oldest son, 16-year-old Maddox are on bad terms and their relationship is almost non-existant. It has been so for a long time, after some altercation took place between the two during a private trip. It was believed that Jolie filed for divorce due to this reason. Pitt’s relationship with his other son Pax isn’t that great as well. Maddox, who studies in Seoul, South Korea, has come over to Jolie’s residence when the pandemic took place.

But now, it’s stated that while the reason was indeed a trip, it’s because of a solo trip that Pitt took that led to their marriage getting broken. Pitt had gone to Croatia alone in 2016, and was allegedly behaving like a ‘carefree, single man on vacation’. Jolie had wanted him to spend the summer with her and the children but he went on his own anyway.

A report said that “As Brad headed out the door, Angelina was in years, truly feeling she’d lost Brad once and for all. The marriage is broken and Brad and Angelina’s $400 million divorce is underway.”
