Mandy Moore Reteams With the Acclaimed ‘This Is Us’ Producers For Cult Drama

Twin Flames, the new series, is based on a real story

Mandy Moore became a household name after her stellar performance in ABC’s emotional family drama, This Is Us. Her performance as Rebecca Pearson earned her a lot of praise and several award nominations. Unlike the other cast, Moore had to embody the character across multiple generations. But her next character is going to be a far cry from Rebecca.

Mandy Moore is preparing to star in Twin Flames, a cult drama that is being developed by the producers of This Is Us. The Emmy-nominated actor will produce the series aside from starring in it. Twin Flames will tell the story of two women who get seduced and trapped by an online couple that claims every person has a soul mate known as a “twin flame.” To find this twin flame, the online couple instructs them to do whatever it takes. As the two women are desperate to find love, they end up in numerous dangerous situations. The series will be airing on Hulu and will be written by Rebecca Addelman. Mandy Moore will be joining producers and showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

Mandy Moore is not the only one heading to the next project. Milo Ventimiglia, who played Rebecca’s husband Jack in the show, will star next in the ABC crime drama The Company You Keep. He will also be seen in the fifth season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Sterling K. Brown, who played Randall Pearson, will be seen next in Washington Black. Lyric Ross, who played Randall’s daughter, will be seen next in Ironheart, an upcoming Marvel series.
