Paris Hilton’s infamous sex tape scandal was in the news back in 2003, and of course the people who were affected the most were her family members.

Actress and TV personality Kyle Richards, who is also Hilton’s aunt spoke about the matter on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and said that the whole family was “devastated” after the video leaked of Paris, who was 19-years-old at that time, and her ex-boyfriend, American poker player Rick Salomon. The tape had been apparently made in 2001. It was Salomon who had publicly leaked it.
A bid to ruin one’s career
When Cohen asked on her opinions on whether the video getting leaked would “catapult” or “ruin” Hilton’s career, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star replied that she thought it would’ve ruined everything.
When Hilton was asked on the matter, she also replied that it was devastating as she had been dating Salomon for a few years, and thought that she will never be able to trust another man again in her and said that she was very young and it wasn’t her fault.

While appearing on the documentary The American Meme in 2018, Hilton recounted the experiences she had at that time and said she “felt like everyone on the street was laughing at me” and added that it was similar to being raped. She further added that she lost the will to live and felt that she was robbed of everything.
But it’s good to see that Hilton is doing well currently and runs successful businesses and her own fashion brand.
