Is Black Adam the savior or destroyer of the DCEU?
The first reactions of Black Adam, a movie that has been in development for over 10 years, have started arriving. Journalists who got to attend the screening of the Dwayne Johnson-starrer are now sharing their thoughts.

Black Adam Story
Black Adam revolves around Teth-Adam, an enslaved citizen of Ancient Egypt. After bearing more trauma than one could handle, Adam receives lightning powers that equal that of a god. Adam decides to use these powers to wipe anyone who opposes him off the face of the Earth. His warped sense of justice quickly turn him into a cruel antihero and sets him down a collision course against the DCEU’s Shazam (Zachary Levi/Asher Angel).
But before he faces Shazam, Black Adam needs to face other heroes, namely the Justice Society of America. The society is deeply conflicted on where to establish this figure that has awakened after 5000 years, so they will have to face him and find out themselves. The JSA members include Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Aldis Hodge as Hawkman.
The Reviews
The reviews for Black Adam are positive, with many saying the Rock is fantastic as the antihero. His character kills anyone who stands against him, and that was surprisingly enjoyable to watch. Others described it as one of the most adrenaline-fuelled adventures of the year. Pierce Brosnan has been tagged as a scene stealer. The action gets special mention as it has been some of the best that the DCEU has ever shown.
With that said, Black Adamis roaring his way to theatres on October 21. Do not miss it!
