Tune in to watch the show on December 4

We have got a proper look at Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special after the trailer and key art dropped earlier today. The show will be streaming on Apple TV+ on December 4th.

Aside from Carey, you will also be seeing celebrities from both the music and Hollywood industry such as Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland and Mykal-Michelle Harris. What’s also special is Carey’s 9-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, will also be starring in the show.

What the show is about

Apple TV+

The show actually has a bit of a story plot to it, believe it or not. We see the world faced where nobody is excited about the holiday season. The only solution that the North Pole could come up with is to rely on Santa’s friend Mariah Carey. With a combination of musical shows, dances and animation, we will see Carey saving the day by bringing everyone into the spirit of Christmas.

The show will have it’s very own soundtrack as well since music plays the main part in it. The additional soundtrack will be featuring Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri, and there will be a new version of “Sleigh Ride” included. The soundtrack will be released on Apple Music on the same date as the show premiere, and will be coming to other platforms on December 11.

Carey has made a major impact to the Christmas season thanks to her song, “All I Want for Christmas is You.” She is the bestselling female artist of all time, and her recently published memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, has taken the No.1 spot on the New York Times Best Seller list.
