‘’House of Cards”, The first Netflix’s original series surrounded by political viewpoints and the race to reach the top of the white house and blatantly leave your opponent with nothing but grief, A first-hand summary.
“House of Cards” is something which matters to Netflix very much as it was the first original by them and although, now they have “13 Reasons Why” and drug mafia shows like “Narcos” but then again it’s an end of an era as the show might have reached it’s ending.
The show was first aired in February 2013 and loved by fans all around the world and as a result, It was able to run for 6 seasons. The 6th season is on Netflix and as usual, It’s a treat to their ears. People are asking for a season 7 but that might not happen.
The reason lies in the cast of the show, It turns out that Kevin Spacey was alleged of sexually abusing Anthony Rapp when he was 14 years. Although the crime is not confirmed Netflix didn’t want any of that and as a result, Spacey was out.
Now, The 6th season totally depends on Robin Wright and watching Claire being the president and Frank Underwood dead Claire is surrounded by some new enemies which were a clear distraction for the mainstream public to make Spacey exit looks like an incident which was planned, it’s not happened out of the blue.
So, It’s sad but maybe it’s time we bid our farewell to the most beloved show and of course “it’s the end of an era” and just watch other shows on Netflix or pray that season 7 is going to be there and it may become the best of the best.
