Corpse’s iconic voice makes its anime debut
We live in an age where streamers and YouTubers are celebrities. One such streamer who has gained a lot of traction since the pandemic began is Corpse Husband. Corpse is well-known for his deep and intimidating voice, but soft, caring and deeply introverted and shy personality. Due to his extreme social anxiety, Corpse never revealed his face or true identity and continues to be a faceless YouTuber.
He had done many roles through his YouTube career, but his latest might end up becoming very iconic.
VERY excited to announce that i will be voicing Ojiro in the English dub for Tribe Nine✨
From the same creator as Danganronpa & Akudama Drive

The new role
Corpse is now the English voice actor for Ojiro Otori from the sci-fi sports anime Tribe Nine. The 24-year-old shared the news via Twitter, and also featured a short clip. The clip didn’t tell anything about the story, but we got a first look at the character, and Corpse’s menacing voice. Ojiro is seen wearing a mask that covers the lower half of his face, very much like Corpse’s online avatar.
How did he get this voice? Corpse suffers from Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which causes stomach acids to enter the esophagus. But he used the voice to narrate creepy stories and make songs, which are available on his YouTube channel.
Tribe Nine
Tribe Nine is a unique mix of sci-fi and sports. It takes place in a dystopian future in the city of Neo-Tokyo. AI exists in this world, and conflicts are plenty. Groups of disorganized youngsters called Tribes wreak havoc across the city, and the government decides on a way to settle conflicts. Tribes are now made to settle conflicts through games of “Extreme Baseball.” Robots are made to be the umpires. However, it will never be like an ordinary game of baseball.
