The series will return this March
Exciting news for He-Man fans. Netflix has just renewed the 3D animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe for a second season.
The show debuted in Netflix on September, and we got to see He-Man (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal) in a new look with his powerful allies. The news was officially announced on Twitter. Check it out below.

The story
A story synopsis or episode number was not shared in the tweet. The first season consisted of He-Man and the Masters (consisting of Teela and Duncan, and his pet Cringer) trying to defeat Skeletor. However, the season did not have a happy ending, as it was Skeletor who won and took over the throne of Eternos. He-Man and his friends were forced to separate and are each on their own.
We can guess that season 2 will involve the team’s reunion and new plans to take down Skeletor and the other Dark Masters.
But let’s not forget
Masters of the Universe: Revelation hasn’t had a season two announcement yet. This is the show that adult fans are waiting for, as it has the 2D animation that they have loved since childhood. The story is much darker and the stakes are also higher. Revelation came out in November 2021, so we might have to wait a little longer for any announcement to pop up.
However, if Masters of the Universe: Revelation returns, they will have to create a more engaging storyline. They have performed well in the action sequences but the story was not up to the mark. But that could also be due to the fact that the classic 1883 and 1985 series had 60+ episodes in each season.
Season 2 of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe releases on Netflix on March 3.
