Madonna is an American artist and performer with the highest-selling album, with a total wealth of $850 million. Madonna is also referred to as an influence from other artists because of her songs, songwriting, images, and style that break the limit.
Madonna also built a strong actress career, winning a Golden Globe Award for her position in the 1996 movie “Evita” and also filming “Desperately Searching Susan” (1985), “Dick Tracy” (1990), “A League of Your Own” (1992). Their role has become a major figure for Madonna. The movie “I Am Because We Are,” (2008) produced and written, and the film “scum and wisdom” (2008), was directed.
Madonna is also a smart entrepreneur. In 1992, she founded a Maverick entertainment firm, in which she received a $60 million and a 20% advance from the music publishing division as part of a joint undertaking with Time Warner.
One of the first projects published by Maverick, amid criticism and a strong public reaction to the sexual nature of the book’s material, was her coffee table book “sex” (1992), which sold $50 million copies each in its early days. Many book projects include a contract to write five children’s books for Callaway Arts & Entertainment.
Four fashion labels have also been created by Madonna. Her first mode collaboration in 2007 was with the H&M brand, and Dolce & Gabbana collaborative effort. In 2014 she launched a range of MDNA Skin skincare products in Japan, subsequently expanded into Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States.
In 2017 the company MG Icon LLC was founded, a joint interpolation with the company’s founder, Guy Oseary, and the Iconix Brand Group, creating their “Stuff Girl” and “Truth or Dare by Madonna” lifestyles and fashion brand names. She has had several brand collaborations and approval deals, along with one of her youngest in January 1989 with Pepsi, over her long career.
Madonna owns a collection of various artworks that is worth a minimum of $100 million and could be worth several times that amount in the right art market. She owns one of only five paintings created by Frida Kahlo in addition to work from artists such as Picasso, Diego Rivera, Damien Hirst, and Marilyn Minter.
On 5.5-acres in Sintra, Portugal, Madonna charged just under $9 million to an 18th-century mansion. She purchased New York City 6,000 square feet of condo for several years and sold this for $16 million in 2013. In that apartment, which she bought for $7 million in 2008, she still owns a smaller portion.
But this is not just her residence in New York City! For a 12,000 square foot rented house with two-car garages, NINE fireplaces, wine cellars and lifts it paid $32 million in 2009. It also does own a 50-acre equine property, which was bought in 2010 for $7 million over two accounts in Bridgehampton, New York.
