“Stranger Things” Star Finn Wolfhard Opens Up About People Stalking Him

Finn Wolfhard has recently talked about how he was stalked by his adult fans. The actor who plays the role of Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things revealed one particular instance after the series first season came out in 2016. Wolfhard told the Mastermind magazine that when he was thirteen a couple of adults followed him back to his house from the sets of the movie It.

He further said that the series Stranger Things had just recently come out and he going back alone to his house. He tried to pick up his pace and the people following him started walking faster too. When he reached the door of his condo he was feeling a bit anxious. Then suddenly they asked Wolfhard for a picture and he said no. He reprimanded them for following a child to his home. The actor was also followed when he was sitting in a taxi. After he was out of the taxi the follower became more relentless.

Finn Wolfhard was also in a band called Calpurnia and is now currently a member of The Aubreys. He said that he have had to, at some points, stop shows in the middle because people were being crushed in the crowd.

Along with Wolfhard, Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown has also faced the brunt of fame and people’s bashfulness’. Brown revealed the pain and insecurity she felt after being targeted by internet trolls.

Brown in her birthday post wrote a caption about how she has coped up with her star status. She said that the last few years were difficult for her. She got frustrated about the comments that were made on her and how people sexualised her. Those things resulted in a lot of insecurity and pain for her but she will not give up on that. She further said that she will continue doing her work and spread her message to bring change in the world.

Both Wolfhard and Brown will be back for Stranger Things season four.
