Season 4 had started streaming from 22nd of September 2019 and will continue to air until 25th of March 2020. Season 3 climaxed with Meliodas returning and barbarously killing Fraudrin who was the commander of the Ten Commandments. It was later revealed that Meliodas is himself the son of the Demon King. Meliodas is reportedly cursed with Immortality. In S4 we are expected to dive deeper into Elizabeth’s relationship with Meliodas and what ugly turn it might take and the heights he would go to protect her. We might, at last, see Meliodas turn back to his devil form. There are a lot of loose ends indeed but they’ll all get a proper ending in season 4. It is also known that A-1 Pictures would make way for Studio Deen, the new Animation Studio for the Anime. So a change in the animation is definitely expected in S4.
