American supernatural teen drama television series, The vampire diaries, is no doubt one of the most liked series of all time. Directed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the popular book series of the same name by L J Smith attains its own position of popularity.
As reviewed by different fans, at the start, the story was sluggish, cheesy, and weak and messed up until the 5th episode, where the actual story comes into action. It is viewed as one of the series with good acting, excellent story writing, and wonderful viewing.
The thrilling part of the entire series, which could be felt throughout, was the death of people without warning. Satisfying incredibly unpredictable happenings made viewers feel the intensity of the story.
The crazy and tragic love story or rather love triangle was also an appealing thing about the show. Unseen twists and turns made the show compulsive enough for the viewers to get addicted to such a fresh show, keeping the fans awake late at night in a hurry to know the story ahead.
Apart from being compared with its books, the show has also been compared with the famous movie series twilight wherein it is ranked as such a show which is capable enough to beat twilight in terms of shooting wherein the impressions of characters could be felt who’ve been put forth in excellent combination with the setting and plot, it is considered more likely to connect the reality.
In comparison with books, viewers couldn’t have possibly developed a relationship between all the main characters only by imagining supernatural things.
The most favored answer to the question “who was better for Bella, Damon or Stefan?” is rewarded to Damon, as was the case in the story too. Damon was a wild and free character and Elena’s decision to chose Damon over Stefan was based on how she felt being with Damon. His aura used to give her more then what she was before. Now she was no more the shy Elena, but the wild and free sole and that feeling was something which people can relate to and that’s what makes Damon the bad-boy who was craved by every other woman who watched this series!
Over the entire series, Damon’s bad boy persona was sparkled, but deep inside, he was lost and considered himself a failure in love who could stand neither for his love nor for his brother. His love for Katherine or Elena was pure and true throughout.
It was justice granted when Elena chose Damon knowing the fact that Stefan too loved her to no end; also he was kind-hearted and loyal, but her decision was completely unbiased, and we as a viewer should respect her decision and also not forget that it’s a fictional story even before we decide to comment negatively.
