“Never Let Me Go” Drama Gets FX/Hulu Series Order
The cast for Kazuo Ishiguro’s popular novel Never Let Me Go, a modern science fiction series on FX, includes Viola Prettejohn, Kelly MacDonald, Tracey Ulman, Aiysha Hart, Spike Fearn, Shaniqua Okwok, Gary Beadle, Kwami Odoom, Susan Brown, Keira Chanse, and Edward Holcroft.
Melissa Iqbal will pen the script for this series, Alex Garland will direct it, and Iqbal and Marc Munden will serve as executive producers. The producers of these series will be DNA Productions, FX Productions, and Searchlight Television.
Never Let Me Go, according to FX President Gina Balian, will explore uncomfortable themes related to life and the ethics of science. She also noted that they are honoured to collaborate with Andrew and Allon at DNA Productions, Alex Garland, Mark Munden, and the outstanding cast on this exciting project.
The Plot Of The Novel And Series
The 2005 novel Never Let Me Go, which was set in Britain and centred on Tommy, Kathy, and Ruth, three childhood friends, The three clones were fostered at a mysterious boarding school with the intention of their becoming healthy and donating their organs to science.
The three develop a tight bond while accepting their fates, but interpersonal tensions between them cause them to make mistakes that will stick with them for the duration of their brief lives.
But this time, despite having the same basic structure, the series appears to be centred on an entirely different cast of characters in a very different kind of storyline. The series is classified as a thriller by FX.
As the star of this show, Voila Prettejohn will play the role of Thora, a disobedient adolescent clone who escapes from the mysterious boarding school where she and other clones are kept from the public. She starts a chain of events after stepping outside that will bring about a revolution and redefine the boundaries of what it means to be human.
Never Let Me Go will be made available on Hulu in the US, Disney+, and Star+ in Latin America.
