The team is currently in the midst of Black Adam promotions
In an interview between Collider and Beau Flynn and Hiram Garcia, the producers of DC’s Black Adam, we got to hear news about another project, or rather, projects. For those who don’t know, Flynn and Garcia are employed by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and have produced many of his movies. And now, last year’s Red Notice, which stars Johnson alongside Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, is getting two sequels.
About Red Notice 2 and 3
Some of Garcia and Flynn’s joint ventures include Rampage, Baywatch, Hercules, and NBC’s Young Rock. About Red Notice, they said that the movie’s success in Netflix had the streamer order two sequels together in January. The producers said that the new draft of the scripts are getting ready to be sent to them, and it will happen “very soon.” They said that if it were up to them, they will try to make the movies back to back. But everything will depend on the scripts and what Dwayne, Ryan, and Gal feel about the. However, the cast and director/screenwriter Rawson marshall Thurber are fully committed to making more. The director is currently working on the draft.
About The Movie
Red Notice debuted on Netflix late last year, and in no time, became one of the most streamed movies they’ve ever made. With a $200 million budget, the action comedy was made during the pandemic. The makers are looking to begin production in 2023, but the lead trio are one some of the biggest Hollywood stars at present. Johnson will be further establishing his role in the DCEU after Black Adam, Gadot is getting ready for Cleopatra, and Reynolds is teaming up with Hugh Jackman for the highly-anticipated Deadpool 3.
So let’s hope to see Red Notice 2 and 3 sometime in 2024 or 2025.
