Kyle Allen To Play He-Man In An Upcoming Live-Action
Netflix is coming up with a live-action film in which Kyle Allen will be seen playing He-Man, the character of Prince Adam. Allen was known for his role in The Path, West Side Story, American Horror story will replace Noah Centineo, who left the project in 2021.
In collaboration with Mattle Films, Netflix is working on Masters of the Universe. Screenplay and direction command is taken by the Nee Brothers who has previously worked on The Lost City and Band of Robbers. With them, David Callaham who has worked on Shang-Chi, Wonder Woman, will share the screenplay.
About Masters of the Universe
Masters of the Universe revolves around the story of Adam. An orphaned boy soon finds out that he is a prince born to save the land. He quickly learns all his might and purpose to protect good from evil.
This live-action film is based on the 1980s action figure which fans can see in live-action of Netflix.
The executive producer, Robbie Brenner said in a statement that the movie motivates each generation to become the best version of themselves. He also promised they will continue to unlock exciting franchises and excited for Kyle battling evil in this live-action saga.
The movie was in development mode at Sony for many years. But now as it has moved to Netflix from Sony’s hand and its development has paced. Fans were expected years back that film will slip from the hand of Sony. But the entertainment company didn’t confirm anything back then. Now it has been clear; however, the company will remain the rights of the film in China.
Fans can expect its production to begin somewhere in summer this year.
