Homelander might completely lose it this time
We have finally received news on the highly-anticipated third season of The Boys. The dark and funny Emmy-nominated superhero show has released a first look trailer, along with a special interview featuring Hugh Campbell (Jack Quaid). Following the teaser, a release date was also given. The Boys will be back on the small screens on June 3, 2022.
Teaser and promo videos
Let’s talk about the promo first. The Boys has a unique and brilliant marketing team that discusses events happening within that world. This time, it was in the form of the Vought News Network (VNN), and a news series called Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman. The host Cameron is a firm supporter of the Seven, and will not take any slander against them, and he proves that with an example when he kicks Hughie out after inviting him as a guest. In between, they also promote their streaming service Vought+ as well as movies starring superheroes.
As for the sneak peek, we only got 15 seconds, but got to see Homelander (Antony Starr), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), and their PR head Ashley Barrett (Colby Minifie). The sequence was the Seven posing for pictures, but Homelander has a terrifying smile on his face, with the rage and bloodlust lurking within him getting more and more evident with each second.
The story so far
