David Fincher to celebrate cinema!
David Fincher teaming up with Netflix is certainly nothing new. But, him producing a documentary series is something quite novel. Earlier on October 13, Netflix took to the Twitter platform, unveiling a new collab with David Fincher. Netflix stated in the tweet that a new documentary series titled Voir hits the screens soon. As per the tweet, David Fincher will serve as the executive producer of the new series.

On October 12, Tuesday, the Twitter account for Netflix Film left people guessing after it dropped a tweet stating, “Something special is coming tomorrow from David Fincher….” A majority of people expected it to be a new season of Fincher’s much-loved crime drama series, Mindhunter. A few guessed it to be a sequel for his Oscar-nominated drama, Mank.
However, the day after that, @NetflixFilm proved all their speculations wrong! A new tweet on October 13 revealed that Fincher teamed up with Netflix to produce a new documentary series. The streamer called the docu-series titled Voir, a series of visual essays that will rejoice cinema. Further, the tweet unveiled that Voir will premiere first on November 13 at AFI Fest and then hits Netflix on a later date.

While Fincher, the project’s executive producer, revealed very few details about the series, the project’s writer, Drew McWeeny, seemed to have given us a small clue. He stated that Voir mainly talks about “something that intrigues us or upsets us or that has to do with our connection to the movies.”
David Fincher’s current projects
David Fincher is famed for producing a great deal of award-winning films like Zodiac, The Social Network, and Fight Club. In fact, his former Netflix crime series Mindhunter gained a huge fan base. Present, Fincher is at the director’s seat for the Netflix movie The Killer, starring Michael Fassbender.
