Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas is on the new yet again, but this time it’s something funny. In an interview with Vogue, the Holly-Bolly couple share details from their first date, their proposal and their wedding plans. Apparently, Priyanka is still upset that her husband didn’t kiss her during their first date.

Flash back to 2016
Priyanka and Nick started messaging from September 2016. It all started with Nick messaging her, saying, “I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet,” and when she saw it, she insisted that Nick message her private number as her team handles her verified account, and Priyanka had always been very private about her dating life.

A week before the 2017 Met Gala, they met for a drink at the Carlyle Hotel in New York, and she invited him to her apartment that evening – where her mom Madhu Chopra was staying at that time as well. Priyanka said, “We hung out for a couple of hours…he patted my back before he left.” Nick quickly added, “There was no kissing. There was nothing.”

“There was a back pat,” she said, to which he replied, “She’s still upset about that. Your mom was in the house! I thought it was a respectful first night,” to which Priyanka sarcastically remarked, “It was too respectful if you ask me.” And funnily enough, the two didn’t see each other for an entire year after that and met at the next Met Gala. That same month, Jonas invited Chopra for a live performance of the Beauty and the Beast at the Chateau Marmont.

The next night, they went to the Dodgers game. The next morning, he called his mother and told her that he was going to marry Priyanka. And the rest is history.
