This is going to be another drama-filled season
Before we get to the show, let’s talk about Dr. Wendy Osefo herself. Dr. Osefo is a political analyst, a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, an entrepreneur and a mother of three. She worked as the Director of Family and Community Engagement under President Obama and also wrote an op-ed during the vote tally of the 2016 presidential elections that became viral.

And now, the 36-year-old has joined the cast of “The Real Housewives of Potomac.” Here are excerpts from her interview.
Treading into uncharted waters
Dr. Osefo will be joining the fifth season, and had made it clear that she will be true and authentic throughout. Her objective is to show women that they can have it all if they have determination.

Osefo has built her career from being authentic, so she wants the audience to understand that whenever she’s having an argument with other contestants, they must know that she says what she means.
However, she admitted that while the “catiness” shown by the contestants entertain the fans to no end, she has felt overmatched at times. She spoke about learning things on the job when you’re new, and while the show was not really a job, there are still times when you can be unsure of things. She said that she feels a sisterhood with the other cast members and have respect for them.

She said that she’s also excited for viewers to see her personal life and household, and wants them to see how she manages it all. She thinks of this as a way for fans to see how she is the way she is.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” will premier on August 2 on the Bravo network.
