As soon as the news of the actor’s demise broke out in media, there have been speculations about the reason of the actor’s death. It was reportedly back in the year 2018 in the month of may that the actor was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

While Will Hurt shared the news of his father’s demise that happened on March 13th, he didn’t reveal the cause of his death. He didn’t reveal whether his father’s cancer had anything to do with his demise or not. Meanwhile, the Hollywood industry has paid their tribute to the Oscar winning actor for his remarkable work in the industry.

William Hurt was a fine actor who worked in several movies. While his work even got acclaimed for the Oscars several times. He is also remembered for working in the Marvel movies such as Captain America: Civil War, The Incredible Hulk, Avengers: Infinity Wars and more.

One of his iconic role was as a teacher to deaf student in Children Of A Lesser God that came out in 1986. He was even nominated at the Oscars for that movie. However he bagged the Oscars for the best actor for his 1985 project Kiss Of The Spider Woman. He played the role of a prisoner in the movie who was a gay character.
