Chris Evans is getting ready to launch Lightyear, the animated movie that chronicles the life of the Buzz Lightyear action figure from Toy Story. The movie has received positive initial reviews that hail Pixar’s most recent creation. Evans has played a number of well-known characters, Captain America at the top of the list, with Buzz Lightyear being the most recent. Before finishing a trilogy about Captain America, four films about the Avengers, and making appearances in other parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor made his acting debut as the super soldier in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger. Evans admits a comeback would be “a tall task” following the conclusion of his Steve Rogers character in Avengers: Endgame.
According to the Buzz Lightyear summary, Evans is now working on the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy. Along with the legendary space ranger, ambitious recruits Izzy, Mo, and Darby, as well as Sox the robot, Lightyear joins the space ranger on an interstellar quest. As this mismatched team sets off on their most challenging mission yet, they will need to learn to cooperate in order to survive against the wicked Zurg and his persistent robot army.
Marvel fans frequently discuss seeing Captain America hand back the six Infinity Stones, which occurred off-screen at the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame. According to Evans, “it seems to be something people would like to see.” Despite the desire from the audience, he is not really enthusiastic to take on the part again. “It’s difficult to not let anyone down, but I don’t want to… It was a great run, and I’m so pleased with it “said Evans. “It means the world to me. It would need to be flawless. Just the thought of shaking something so dear to me would be terrifying. I really value that role. Therefore, it would be a difficult task to review it.”
Chris Evans talks openly about playing Captain America again!
According to a story from January 2021, Evans would be coming back as Captain America. It appeared at the time that Evans would have a supporting part in another Marvel movie rather than star in another Captain America movie. Anthony Mackie will play Sam Wilson in the upcoming fourth Captain America movie. At the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame, an aged Steve Rogers gave Sam the Captain America shield, and in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney+, Sam fully assumed the role.
Evans turned to Twitter to respond coyly to the rumors that he was making a comeback. He tweeted on January 14, 2021, “News to me.” Since then, nothing has been heard about his return as Captain America.
