Kevin Feige on James Gunn’s New Project at DC
Primary Producer and the President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige doesn’t mind anything on one of his employees leaving the franchise and working for the competition. in a statement he said “I will be the first one in line” to see anything James Gunn does.
James Gunn is the director of movies “The Suicide Squad”(2021) and “Guardians of the Galaxy”(2014). The marvel studios Movie director has joined DC Studios as the Co-Chair and Co-CEO along with Peter Safran. In a four-year contract with DC Mr. Gunn and Safran will direct and produce their own projects respectively.

James Francis Gunn Jr an American Screen writer, Actor and film maker known for his direction in marvels movies, he was the writer and director of the first two guardians of galaxy (Marvel Film) which resulted a hit movie, but the suicide squad which was directed by Gunn and David Ayer was the least successful movie in DC universe.
The news of Gunn and Safron named as Co-Chair and CEO shocked people for the confirmation of this news, on Tuesday 25 October Mr. Gunn posted screenshot of a news article related to his joining at DC studios with a caption “yes, this is true. Excited to be here#DC”.
Kevin Feige supports James Gunn
In an interview Feige said Gunn have a lot of work to do for the Marvel studios between now and may, and he is aware of that, as his remaining movies haven’t released yet Guardians of galaxy volume 3. He also expressed his support for Gunn, for getting appointed as co-chair and CEO of dc studios.
James Gunn’s Marvel final Project the Guardians of galaxy holiday special and guardians of galaxy volume 3 will be released in Theaters on May 5, 2023.
