What’s the fate of Twitter?
Elon Musk was quite happy for setting new record till employees left. A week before on Thursday, Elon Musk shares the news of the record. But there are few more things you don’t know about.
According to the reports, the billionaire hasn’t given himself a specific job title as per his “chief Twit” and “complaint hotline operator” rule. He shows a graph in which user numbers rosed up because of his acquisition.
Apart from that many hashtags regarding the end of the social media are going viral. Users are trending the tags like #RIPTwitter and #GoodbyeTwitter. Many the executive team, workforce and many engineers have been laid off ever since Musk took over the social media giant. Since the new leader makes new plans to work on nothing seems to be stable.
In a meet with the staff, Musk introduced the staff about a pledge. The pledge requested employees to work at least 40 hours a week and “extraordinarily hardcore…lengthy, laborious hours”. For the development of an improved version of twitter i.e., Twitter 2.0.
He emphasized the fact that nothing less than brilliance is expected. He already took service a number of weeks before due to which a close to 3,700 employees were laid off.
Many employees didn’t accept Musk’s ultimatum which made them choose between working for a new “lengthy and laborious” environment or simply walking away with three months’ severance. This led to employees leaving besides taking the severance. This allowed them to still have access to company property.
After this, many Twitter offices were reported to shut down due to this reason. In response to which Musk said, “The perfect individuals are staying, so I’m not tremendous nervous.”
